winebottle_edna[1] With support of a long list of sponsors and variety of people, the first annual Sowing Seeds for Life Wine Extravaganza, held Sunday, April 13, at the Doubletree Hotel at 555 W. Foothill Blvd. in Claremont, turned out to be a huge success.

“We got a great turnout for what proved to be a great event,” said Fran Robertson, the resource development director for Sowing Seeds for Life.

The Wine Extravaganza featured renowned wineries offering their best products and local restaurants supplying gourmet food. The event benefited both Sowing Seeds for Life and the Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity.

Tickets were priced at $65 in advance and $75 at the door, with 100% of the proceeds going to the two charities.

For further information on this year’s Wine Extravaganza or how to get involved with in future SSFL fundraisers, contact Fran Robertson at 909 392-5777, ext. 232 or frobertson@sowingseedsforlife.org.
